Adding a Machine Gun Mount
The original mount was installed in an industrial setting by trained workers
with templates and industrial tools. Ivan installed them all day, day after day.
He got good at it.
The mount we offer is designed to be put together by the any Soviet Motorcycle owner who can do
their own maintenance.
Things you will need:
A tape measure
A Framer's or drywall Square
A marker that contrasts your paint job.
A 7/16 inch (11mm) socket and ratchet
A 7/16 (11 mm ) combination wrench for backup.
A Center Punch and Hammer
A 1/2 inch Electric Drill Motor
A 2 inch [+ or - 1/8] hole saw. A good one, like a Milwaukee. You don't want it coming apart and go
skipping across your new camouflage paint job.
A 5/16 twist drill.
A counter sink tool to de-bur the holes neat and pretty.
The "Tommy bar" from your kit to align holes. That's the 8 inch tapered bar you use as a handle
for the spark plug socket.
A Long Flat Blade Screw Driver
Tube of Silicone Sealant
A helper would be a big help for fetching a cold one and helping with aligning those pesky bolts
and getting the nuts on tight.
