Adding a Machine Gun Mount
1- The first thing will be to find the spot where you will drill the hole for the tube to
come through the top of the tub. Square up to the edge of the tub as shown in Figure 1 & 2.

2- Measure down the square to 18 1/4 inches as shown in Figure 3
Mark it and ready your drill motor with the hole saw.

3- Center punch your mark and carefully start the pilot bit into the top of the tub. Slowly saw the hole through.
Clean up the hole with a file if needed. I used a plate template in Figure 4 to show that there is now a hole you can
see down to the floor board. Scary wasn't it ? Don't worry about the plate hole yet. We will be positioning the
bottom plates and receiver tube and bolting it up first.

4- For the next step we will divide the instructions into two paths.
4A- If you have no front bumper installed CLICK HERE
4B- If you have a factory or dealer installed hack bumper CONTINUE ON.
You would have been shipped a special bottom plate set that is made for your tub.
It will have a stud welded to the bottom of the tube plate.
You need to remove the front, right hand bumper bolt and nut before proceeding. The stud will go into this hole.
It is metric and will use the OEM nut that held on the bumper.
Take the receiver tube and put it up through the hole in the top of the tub and lower it into place, the stud going
into the bumper mounting hole. Square up the plate to the foot rest and mark the remaining holes and center punch
them for drilling. DO NOT leave the plate in place when drilling. The holes are threaded to make it easier to put the
bolts in from the outside. Drill to 5/16 and clean up the holes in side and out. Leave the tube out for now.
Get the tapered "Tommy Bar" from you Ural tool kit and the 3 X 3 inch exterior bottom plate. This plate will slip
between the bumper tab and the hack body. You may need to use a screw driver to get the plate in place, separating
the tab out from the tub. Use the tapered bar to align the holes up.
