Nostepinne Use Instructions

The Nostepinne is a simple and useful tool to make center-pull ball of yarn.

 Hold the nostepinne in one hand with the handle end toward you.

Bring a tail of the yarn to the handle.

PIC - 2   Take the strand in your free hand and wrap the yarn around until you have a 1 inch band as in Pic-2.

PIC - 3   Keep the nostepinne at an angle and keep winding vertically around the band.

Rotate the nostepinne slowly as you wind to get an even distribution of yarn to make a round ball.

When you are done, the ball should easily slide off the tapered end.

You now can pull yarn from the center or unwind from the outside......
